Overall, this is a great starter book for people who have not had dogs before. The information is very nicely presented and easy to absorb.

This book is more than training puppy. It includes the essential tips of being responsible, how to choose the right puppy and different kinds of training. It is the first book that advocate positive training I.e. Eliminating punishment but affirming right behaviour with simple reward. Very practical indeed.
Too general too short not worth the price. I would not recommend this book is not worth the time spent
Enjoyed reading this book. Besides training the puppy, it also showed how to engage the children in training the puppy. This will definitely teach the children responsibilities, also hopefully some compassion. Good book.
Good guide for a beginner like myself I would say. Have got a dog before but it died sadly and was really upset and may get a new puppy. This book really gives a great insight on the mindset and a beginners guide to teaching a dog. Housebreaking, rules etc.. Really would save a lot of trouble and time.
